Start with a Discovery Call: 866-72-THINK UnityConsultingLLC.com

The Midwest Leadership Experience helps leadership teams slow down, align, and elevate how they lead - together.

For senior executives, this creates clarity, ownership, and consistency across your leadership culture. For the leaders attending, it provides a rare space to think strategically, communicate honestly, and reconnect to why they lead in the first place. This is not a conference. It is a structured leadership reset that strengthens how your team works, communicates, and makes decisions long after the experience ends.

What Changes After the Experience

đŸ”„ Faster decisions & fewer repeated conversations through shared leadership language & aligned priorities. đŸ”„ Reduced cross-department friction as leaders understand how to communicate & operate together. đŸ”„ Greater ownership & accountability without increased executive oversight. đŸ”„ Stronger execution speed because teams leave clear, aligned, & focused.

Most leadership teams don't struggle because they lack intelligence or effort.
They struggle because they never get time to think together.

Your leaders operate inside:
** nonstop meetings   ** reactive decisions  ** siloed priorities  ** constant urgency
So even strong leaders unintentionally:
** solve problems differently  ** communicate inconsistently  ** interpret strategy differently  ** pull the organization in multiple directions

You don’t have a people problem.
You have a shared-thinking problem.

From the Executive Seat:

You repeat yourself more than you should have to.
Projects move slower than expected. Alignment meetings create temporary clarity that fades within weeks. And you carry the quiet concern:
"If our leaders aren't aligned, our growth will stall."

From the Leaders Attending:

They are capable - but tired.
They move from meeting to meeting without space to process.
They handle problems all day but rarely think long-term. They want to lead well but feel constantly behind. So they default to urgency instead of leadership.

No one is failing.
But the system keeps everyone reacting
instead of leading.

This isn't a Training issue...

After working with organizations for years, I noticed something:
Teams didn’t need more training.

They needed shared thinking time.

When leaders step out of daily pressure and into a structured environment designed for reflection, discussion, and behavioral awareness - alignment accelerates.

The biggest breakthroughs never happened during lectures.

They happened in conversation.

The Midwest Leadership Experience is designed to intentionally create those conversations — and guide you productively.

From Reflection to Renewal

At the Midwest Leadership Experience, leadership growth begins with slowing down. Each day is designed to help you reconnect with yourself, your purpose, and your team—so you can return to work with clarity, confidence, and renewed energy.

Centering

Find Your Balance
Day 1: We begin with movement—starting from your core. A fitness session and outdoor activities (weather permitting—even paddleboarding!) will ground you physically while quietly preparing you for deeper insight. In the evening, we’ll shift that awareness inward, exploring how physical balance mirrors the challenge of staying centered as a leader. You'll begin drawing connections between core strength and leading from your values.

Curiosity

Lead with Questions
Day 2 invites you to explore how asking the right questions—of yourself and others—can shift your leadership. Whether you're watching the sunrise, playing pickleball, or tackling a local scavenger hunt, you'll experience how curiosity builds trust, encourages growth, and invites collaboration. Through play and reflection, you'll begin to see how leading with questions is more powerful than leading with control.

Creativity

Unplug to Discover
Day 3 invites you to disconnect from constant interruptions and reconnect with your most powerful leadership asset: your creative mind. In a tech-free environment, we’ll engage in hands-on activities that activate the right side of your brain—where problem-solving, vision, and innovation begin. You’ll learn how anxiety blocks creativity and how intentional space invites clarity. Great leaders don’t just manage tasks—they imagine what’s possible.

Slow Down to Speed Up

At the Midwest Leadership Experience, we guide your team through a 2.5-day, 3-night journey to reset how you lead — and how you live.

Set in the peaceful beauty of Central Wisconsin, you’ll stay at a curated Airbnb cabin where you’ll disconnect from technology and reconnect with purpose.

This is more than a retreat — it's a reawakening.

You’ll be hosted by me, Kathie Rotz, and my team — your guides for an unforgettable experience of nature, movement, mindful leadership, reflection, and growth.

The Real Return on Investment (ROI)

What does an organization actually gain from stepping away for three days?

The Midwest Leadership Experience creates measurable organizational alignment -
and the individual leadership clarity that makes it sustainable.

We created the Midwest Leadership Experience because we’ve seen too many good leadership teams work incredibly hard -
but still feel disconnected.

Leaders rarely get permission to pause and think together.
When they do, everything accelerates.

This experience exists to create that moment intentionally.

It’s Time to Lead Differently
